Warp and Weft: The loom is used to set up vertical strands, or warp. The weft, or horizontal threads, are then passed over and under them by artisans. No Knots Needed: Woven rugs derive its structure directly from the interlaced threads, in contrast to hand-knotted carpets that necessitate tying individual knots.

Flat or Textured: They may have braided or textured surfaces, although they typically have a low, flat appearance. Unique Look: Each piece has subtle, endearing variances because they are made by humans rather than robots.
